The seed of Ganga Kaveri Seeds Private Limited was sown as dream of a progressive on Agriculturist in a small village called “Maktha” in Karimnagar district of A.P. State in India. The doyen being Shri M.N. Reddy vested with the Krishi Pandit Award (An agricultural guru) by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He recognized the need for growing seeds to meet the farmers’ requirements and thus promoted a firm called Ganga Kaveri Agricultural Farms in partnership with his eldest Son, Shri M.V. Reddy. Ganga Kaveri started its seed production work in association with Rockefeller Foundation and National Seeds corporation (India).
